PVP Population

In a MMORPG, how many people in the whole server do PVP?

It always seems a very small percentage and the wait to enter PVP zone is always long.

In the latest warhammer preview weekend, the wait can be as long as hours. This is a problem for players who like PVP. In fact, it's quite disappointing if a game which is built around PVP has such problems.

Wow solve it by clustering several servers together to increase the population. Is this the only way to solve it?

Blogging in MMO?

Hmm.. interesting idea.
I was reading a news article in BB News. (link)
It says that blog reading is getting more and more popular in America. I suppose the rest of the world too. RSS feed has also become popular for people.

Personally I subscribe to tons of news from all over the world through RSS feed too.

Imagine an MMO whereby it internally provides RSS feed. Like Dungeon clearance in the whole world? Guild News?

Will RSS feed be the future for some MMO features?
hmm....

Quite an interesting article and it clearly reflects certain real life situations that we encounter everyday. Hope the management actually read this article too and knows what is their problem.

Commencement of Blog

Based on rough estimation.

Out of the 100+ employees in "OUR" company dated since the start, only 58 are left. And this amount includes the foreigners who believe that the company is their life and they will rather die than to quit the company.

So estimating the number of foreigners to be 15 people. We have total of 43 people out of 85 (approximate) total possible employees.

This means that there is near 50% (which is certainly more in actual) possibility of anyone ( other than "foreigners" and people who behave like "foreigners" ) to quit any day in the company.

This is really an achievement for any company that last 3 years. Gosh, at this rate, only couple of people (who behave like "foreigner") will be eligible for long service award.

Hence there is a need for this blog to remain contact. Put your name and contact here if you like to :)
